just wanna dedicate this post to matty! HAPPY 21st B'DAY! woohoo~ all grown up ^^ haha~ sorry been bz lately...>< haven't talked much. hope you have a great celebration and dun get so stressed up for your exams k? ^^

was down with a bout of fever and sorethroat since cultural night on sunday...was contemplating on not going for the dinner in which every group from the residential had to bring some 'homemade' food from some country we chose. dinner was at 7pm, and it was 6pm b4 my group realized that we would not be able to prepare any italian dishes on time..@@ so being the 'geniuses' we are...we ended up ordering pizza...and no one questioned it. =P i don't think they'd think we made it...would they? oh well..

had bits and pieces of the food...didn't have much of an appetite..plus i had to stay away from fried and spicy stuff..so saddening. after the dinner, a group of us went to safeway, i went along hoping to get something to relieve my throat...and b4 i knew it...fever came along...it was truly horrible!! i'm prone to getting sick near exams...sighz...if there was ever a time i truly wanted to be home, it was definitely at that very moment

after 1 and a half days of suffering, happy to say that mr.fever has gone away, leaving me wif the sorethroat to deal with...and a test on thursday which i have just managed to start on...i dunno whether its good that the days are passing, or bad coz i'm running out of time @@

sighz..with the 1st sem of our final year about to be done and over with...it wun be long b4 we'll all be graduating...and then what? continue studying? look for a job? being the dreamer that i am, i can't help but imagine being offered a contract in a new york PR firm...with a 50k per month salary? ahaha! okay..back to reality...i wouldn't really know what i wanna do...can't wait to finish this course n get the cert...but it'd be a new start to a new life after that.....

fuh! one more week to go...it still hasn't hit me that finals are way too near, coz all i can think about it i'll be going home soon! lolx. can't wait~ probly wun be updating much (not that i am) =P coz i'll be 'nerding' in my room...doubt there's gonna be anything interesting to write...

went for a footie match yesterday nite...we were cheering for the losing team...so sadz..>< sponsored by berwick residential...it was a freaking 9 degrees out there...so, me and a few others who didn't understand the game were sitting there trying not to turn into icicles...on the bus, we were stuck in a heavy traffic flow and the conversation somehow turned to jams+kl.. some m'sian guy mentioned that 'federal highway has to be the largest parking lot in the whole world" how true that is..sighz..to think we'd be traffic jam-free in melbourne

was just lying in bed yesterday when i started thinking....if i could only bring 5 things out with me...what would it be? i definitely have more than 5 important things! but..well...i guess it'd be..
1. KEYS! how would i get home without them
2. wallet (preferably with cash and credit cards)
3. handphone (yes..we can't live without them, can we?)

it was a little tough coming up with 4 and 5.....2 more choices left to go..and so many more things to bring along...>< so there i was going through the list....pepper spray? lip gloss? camera? sunglasses? ugh..! so i finally decided that it would be...

4. IPOD! (i love my ipod to bits..and i wudn't dream of leaving it alone at home)

for my last choice..i was actually gonna act like a bimbo and choose my fave gloss...but then i remembered what always happens on the plane..when they give out these forms and i never have a pen around to fill them...so...

5. pen (one that writes and doesn't leak)

plus..a pen would come in handy if some cute guy happens to sit next to you...phone number..msn..mm hmm...^^ though i have never been that lucky...oh well..

ah..i finally have something that is interesting enough to blog about...with pictures too! ^^ actually more pictures than words..hurray~ suan registered us for this girl's day out shopping trip, where they brought us to various warehouses around the city...was quite fun~ and got to know more people too...too bad i had to wake up at 6.30am..so it wasn't until later in the day that i got into the mood for buying stuff =P

there were 12 stops in total...and about 22 of us including the guide n bus driver ^_^ first stop was at bonds warehouse...a pretty popular brand here which specializes in lingerie...sleepwear..etc etc...=P forgot to take pics there...was still half asleep and freezing

then we walked next door to this footwear warehouse...i saw this really nice white boots...and it was only 30 bux..>< but they didn't have it in my size...how unfortunate..T_T

after that we went to a busier area...it was this place called 'JAG'. see how much control i have over my spending..i have yet to buy anything! *proud* i went in for about 5 minutes before walking across to.....7-11! haha. bought an egg sandwich..split it with jo and suan..can't help it...was freezing and needed something to chew on b4 i freezed my ass off..><

up next was...ta-dah---> a CHOCOLATE FACTORY! haha..not really. the name is indeed chocolate factory..but its just a shop specializing in choco~

there were samples of chocolate bits...i tried the coffee bean...rum and brandy...fruit and nut..and one with raspberry filling...ended up buying two packets of choco...

after all that sweet, delicious choco, we had lunch at mcd's...and after being convinced that the price is the same, i ended up ordering a happy meal...^^ and look at the toy we got!

lunch was probly the best part of the day so far coz by then i actually felt warm again...thank goodness for not turning blue~ next was a warehouse which sold souvenirs..gifts..scrapbooks...etc

the next destination had to be the best one out of the whole trip...it was to a warehouse called grab! and we seriously GRABBED! haha..most of us did anyway..got myself 3 skirts at 5 bux each..and 2 tops...5 bux each also~ yes! i finally bought enough to fill a shopping bag!

after that we were supposed to go to this place called table eight, but me, jo and suan decided to skip that and went to this skate shop instead...saw a nice black top for 10 bux~ yay..i'm becoming a spendthrift =P

at the end of the road was a cosmetics warehouse were we were supposed to meet up...nothing cheap and nothing interesting...maybe not my kinda stuff..=P jo was glad to get a nail filer from that shop tho..coz she just broke her nail a few shops back

on the way back to uni, we had a raffle....i ended up with a pair of red socks...oh well, one can never have too many red socks, can they?

arrived back at uni...dead tired...glad to be home..had a pretty good day...and i finally finished writing up the entry~ woohoo!

okay..i'm panicking...group assignment due tomoro and no one's passed me anything yet...no one's on msn...can't contact them...even my 'dearest' groupmate/housemate is dead asleep and i can't wake her up...forget the countless e-mail and message i've left, coz i can't get hold of her..someone tell me i won't die tomoro pls? T_T

3 weeks more to end of sem! *count count* i really cannot wait for it to be over...>< was supposed to go to the city with val tomoro, but have to cancel on her now coz i got a biz assignment due on monday...procrastination as always, proves that i'm a normal uni student

got another 2 replied for my internship...so that makes it 4 to choose from...decisions are so hard to make..and i was so worried i wudn't get a single reply...i'm a worrywart...T_T

just got off the phone with mom...told her that dad asked about me doing my masters again...i really think i need a break from all these studying...b4 i get a nervous breakdown from worrying about unnecessary things..mentioned my plans about saving up for a trip to japan/korea/hk after i graduate...^_^ mom thinks its a good idea...wonder if she's up to contributing or my trip ^^

been getting tired a lot lately...lazing around too much... =P haven't been going for classes the past week...usually coz it rains and i can't run over...>< even with an umbrella... but also coz the lecturer reads directly from the slides...so it doesn't matter much whether i go or not does it? i feel bad about skipping too much tho...but then again, these subjects are all assignment based, so i just gotta read and do my stuff appropriately...sigh

burnt my hand on the stupidz oven again today while trying to take out my toasted bread...so now i have a patch of skin darker than the rest...-.-" and i thought i was being careful enough. i think i shall stick to the toaster from now on...since i'm so..accident-prone

okay..this is a boring entry...but my bloggy would be lonely if i stopped writing... =)

ugh...so sienz..just finished a phone call...to my mom~ she's equally bored...=P so i finished my remaining 1 dollar plus credit calling her..^_^

finally got replies from my internship...3 out of 7...better than i expected...was kinda worried if none of them replied..does that means i dun get to graduate? >.< anywayz, 1 out of the 3 told me that internship was full for the period i requested...=( i was kinda hoping for the company tho.. so now its between RA public relations..and versacomm. both names aren't actually well known to me..so its a pretty hard decision...wonder if the other companies would respond later? =P

but getting the internship is kinda like a double edged sword...i'm happy i got it...but that means slaving away for the rest of my holidays..since the internship is a whole month.. blehz. wonder if they work saturdays too @@ coz that wud mean i get only 4 days?!?! free out of a whole month that i'll be back..gosh!

just finished my 'cooking master boy' anime...it was bad enough that i had to watch anime in cantonese...the second half of the series turned out to be in mandarin...T_T kinda spoiled the whole thing since the names and all were different...plus the voices..-.-" gives you the kinda effect you'd get when watching doreamon..

btw...noticed something when i was reading some blogs..anyone care to explain what is 'can'? and its not can as in the one u can find in the dictionary...still clueless here..@@

OMG! i'm addicted to SilkRoad Online...>< the current mmorpg i'm playing..i got a munak there! MUNAK! =P (for those of u who dun play RO, munak = chinese vampire). hyak hyak. but dunno why my vampy float...not jump jump...

orhhh! figures that it would be the last few weeks of semester and i get addicted to games again...*dies*

fuh! e-biz presentation finally over...one down...2 more to go...its been awhile since i felt so free!! so glad that everything went okay...after worrying the whole time that i did my parts wrongly..but it wasn't so bad after all...maybe coz there were other groups presenting..=P so the lecturer had no time to comment much. hiak hiak~

have been online window shopping a bit lately...saw so many stuff i wanted...at a much cheaper price too...>< and its all just a click away...having a paypal account is not such a good thing after all..far too convenient and tempting

my dear PR lecturer finally approved of the companies that i wanna do my internship in...after sending her the e-mail and not getting a reply for days...i resolved to looking for another lecturer who could perhaps help me out...but happened to see her in the office instead..i can finally send out my applications...wish me luck..><

5 more weeks till end of semester!! approximately 35 more days to the beginning of exams!! can't wait! um...wait that sounds a bit wrong....can't wait to go home, not can't wait for exams... =P *starts ticking off days on the calendar*
