mm...its been sooooo long since i last updated my bloggie...not those few lines of crap that i wrote. finally in a not so lazy mood....resized and uploaded the pics..and hopefully this will be an entry that will last for awhile. now....where shall i start...?

was walking to uni the other day...and i realized its winter. phew! finally! i kinda miss miniskirts and boots.

its WCG prelimineries in malaysia today...=( wished i could be there. haven't been to any gaming event since i stopped o2jamming half a year ago...miss the atmosphere and all the tension felt by the gamers. =P plus...its held in midvalley! i miss that place...>.< used to go there so damn often...can't wait to get back to kl again. hee~

omg..have been slacking off really badly the past week... thank gawd i actually got my assignments in on time...but can someone plz knock me on my head hard and force me to start on my studies again? have been distracted with my online games...lolx

have been meaning to upload pics and post them up..but nvr got around to it. did i mention my usb hub died?? SIMMY! where's my usb hub?! by the time u send it to me i'll probly be going back to kl soon....~>.<~ anywayz, its such a nuisance having to plug and unplug all the usb hardwares...soon i'll knock out the original usb ports too....and then woohoo! i won't be able to use my mouse, webcam, printer, etc...>.<

oh yea...slept till 5pm today...yup..its not a mistake 5PM! haha. think i overslept though coz i woke up more tired than b4.. sobz. i'm turning nocturnal...wuUuUuuu....one fine day i'm gonna go to sleep and wake up like a normal person...not that i'm abnormal now..hmpfz!

my broadband connected! wa..O_o did i see wrongly? *rubs eyes* it did connect! i was amazed...when i least expected it to happen. so what do i do next? of course try to connect my msn...and then out jumps the pop-up telling me msn wudn't connect. -_- okay...maybe i should try something else first....sooooo, i double clicked on IE...pulled down the address bar and randomly clicked on on of the websites. out comes a 'page cannot be displayed' site! what the.....!!! >.< this is worse than not being able to connect at all....

maylynn think quick! wat do you do in a situation like this...? run down and look for nic! haha. i ran downstairs, knocked on my flatmate's door, and he came up and tried his best to troubleshoot the problem. well...the conclusion is....... i'm still stuck with the sucky monash connection.. lolx. and that's the last time i shall mention about the stewpid broadband in my blog...it's probly sickening to hear my droning on about it. hee~

was gonna go to fountain gate again wif val...we're both bored and there's nothing else better to do =) met up at the train station, and we found out that trains and busses are cancelled today and tomoro ^^ yay~ we're stuck in berwick. now we can count cows to pass our time. haihz. seeing as we're already out and i was starving to death, we ended up at the nearest place...mcd's again... i wonder if i'll die early from eating mcd's everyday..hmm

*phew* tiredddd... had a pretty bad day....was supposed to meet up with my debate teammates at 9am...and i woke up late..=P the dreaded debate started at 10am...was the 2nd speaker for the team. when it got to my turn, i was so nervous i could hardly speak...did i ever mention that i hate public speaking? no matter how i convince myself that everyone's not paying attention to, that they're just pretending to, i still end up a nervous wreck. soooo relieved that its finally over...for now anywayz..

class over and done with, i went to fountain gate (nearby shopping complex) to get my router changed. wasn't working properly, plus the cd and manual wasn't in the box. hmpf! got a new one, n this time i checked to make sure everything was in b4 leaving. reached home and spent 3 hours trying to connect to my broadband...-_- 3 HOURS! i even got eddie to come over and help me out with it... but after all the frustration, i concluded that the router wasn't working properly.. stupid thing! and thus, another trip to fountain gate..

went into the shop again..and the guy recognized me! lolx. this time i gave up on the router and got an adsl modem instead...and its damn CUTE! really small...its the size of my palm..and it comes with a stand..

and finally! everything's in working order... so happy that my modem's actually running properly, i double clicked the connect button...to get a msg telling me that my username/password is not available on this domain? O_o called the service provider...and guess what? they told me they have yet to connect my line... then why send an e-mail telling me i could in the first place? *pif* then they connected me to the accounts department for further enquiries, n i was put on hold for 30 minutes b4 deciding to hang up and try again tomoro.

mm...back to fountain gate...saw valerie and lisa there...and joined them for awhile...shopped around and i ended up buying stuff again...>.<

decided to go home around 7.30, and i missed the bus! had to wait one whole hour for the next one...haihzz

after chatting for awhile, me and val went to mc cafe for lunch~ yes, the mcd's here has a cafe! an improvement over the usual burgers and fries....guess what we had for lunch?


chicken, cheese and avocado foccacia...as recommended by val. it was realllllly yummmy ^_^ looks like i'm gonna be a regular customer at mcd's for the next few weeks

did i mention...it SNOWED in berwick??? yes....SNOW! okay okay..i'm exaggerating..maybe not snow....it was raining drops of ice actually....hailstorm? was taking a nap when suan rang me and excitedly started screaming to me that it was snowing. lolx.. made me take my camera and run down in shorts n t-shirt....it was freezing!! but managed to get a couple of pics...will upload it in my next post. hoping that i'll wake up to look out my window and see snow a couple of inches thick on the ground....*crosses fingers*

week 4 of semester..and i'm about to die....the kind of feeling where u relax too much and suddenly realize its time when all assignments are due...and you haven't done a thing at all.. i guess i'm in that kind of situation now!! *cries* the worst thing is...i haf no idea where to start...

good news of the day, i finally got my broadband connection and changed to a postpaid line! um..well, braodband's not exactly installed yet, but subscribed. it'll probly take about 2~3 weeks or so...and then i'm finally able to have a firewall-free connection...woohoo! the most stupid thing about the whole subscribing for broadband, was the fact that i went to the same shop last week, and they told me that i couldn't do it, and today i could? but then i was happy enough to get the line so i'm not complaining =P

hmm....got a beanbag today too! its orange in colour...mwahaa...

yea! welcome to my new blog...i've finally found the initiative to start writing again. laziness tookover me when i left back to malaysia for holidays. hoping to get back my inspritation for writing! but then again, i should be paying more attention to writing for my assignments instead of blog. oh well

so...new bloggy...new semester...new attitude...a whole new me? my 2nd semester in melbourne. how do i describe it? i would love to say it sux! coz it truly does..especially the assignment part. lecturers can be so unthoughtful, they always complain about marking tons of assignments, but hey! how bout us? we get loads of stuff to write and research about too.. sometimes i wonder, did these lecturers actually had to go through similar college/uni lives like us? they of all ppl, should understand better how much stress we students go through. well, assignments aside, i guess i'm dealing with the 2nd part of this year better than i thought! seriously, who would have thought that i'd stop counting days till i got to go home. perhaps its due to the fact that i've been superbly happy nowadays! ^_^ reason for that? hmm... a new social life? lolx.

guess the trip back to m'sia really did loads of good for me. still remember the amount of time i spent going out everyday, never getting enough of hanging out, playing ez2dj, meeting up with friends. really miss everyone back home =) but best of all, i'm really thankful for one particular friend who spent a lot of time bringing me around and making me the cheerful person i am now. you know who you are ^^ thx lots and muax!

i'm back to procrastinating again! every semester i tell myself that this is the semester where i'll be doing extremely well~ lolx. its funny coz i end up being lazier and lazier... can someone plz knock me on my head and make me start working harder. i think i'm being far too relaxed coz until now i've been getting through on last minute assignments. but there was that near-fail MKW2251 last semester...so near to having to retake it.

oh gosh...can't believe i'm going on and on about assignments and uni...how much more boring can my blog be getting? ah..but i've been stuck in my room mostly so there's nothing remotely interesting for me to write about a.t.m... went to fountain gate with suan and joanne yesterday~ and ended up spending quite a lot...>.<

saw this mousepad at one of the shops..now i can replace the notebook that i've been using as a mousepad...finally~
